The Spring Ethnic Dinner to benefit Big Sisters of Sarnia Lambton was a success. The sold out event attracted over 400 people and generated a total sum of $7,145.50 for "Sister Circle" and "Waiting Club" programs offered by Big Sisters.

The Sarnia Muslim Aassociation held a successful fundraising dinner to aid victims of hunger in Africa. The dinner which was held on Nov 10, 2004 was attended by over 400 people and generated 10,000$ for the cause.

On Oct 21, about 20 pathfinders ( girls ) two French Exchange students from Cathcart and one of their partner plus their leaders paid our mosque a visit to learn more about the Muslim culture. A number of Muslim girls participated.

The Muslim Community Collected over 500lb of non-perishable food items for the Inn of the Good Shepard. A monetary donation was also made to the Inn.

Eid dinner was held on October 4, 2008 at the mosque. The community celebrate the occasion and got together for a night of family time. The community was also joined by Federal Political Candidates for October 14 Federal elections.
